When you let go of someone
What do you let go of?
Do you release your own emotions?
Or just remove your love?

Does it help to cry a little
Or not sleep for days?
Is the future so unclear
And the past is just a haze?

The memories only moments old
But still a lifetime past
They never seem to be too clear
The thoughts just seem so vast

Can you go back to the way
It was 2 weeks ago?
When you let go of someone
Are you really letting go?
